The chaos is real, so remember to take the time you need to process life. Slow down. Breathe. Recenter. The chaos won't have disappeared, but it won't sound as loud, and you'll feel more steady moving forward.

Hello and good morning to you! Let me share a little insight behind my tidbit today.
I recently took up Tai Chi. Not through a community class or through an app even though that's trending, though I must admit that it was those Tai Chi Walking apps advertised on Instagram that got me searching for a new way to exercise.
Instead, I hit the easy button and turned to YouTube.
And in the two weeks since I began, this is what I noticed:
It's harder than it looks.
My balance is shot.
It makes me sweat.
My feet get sore.
It requires attention, focus, and intention of movement. Lots of it.
Who knew that something so serene and slow moving would demand so much of the body?
But I learned other things too. Namely:
My mind goes quiet during practice. I get a much needed break from my mental zoomies and from the energetic upheaval that comes with living with national chaos.
My balance has improved. I'm more surefooted now, especially after an ankle injury last year made me hyper careful walking anywhere.
I'm more aware of my body and my energy flow (my hand chakras get humming!). Even my posture and my mobility have improved.
I get to do this at home, which is a win since my home is my favorite spot.
To say nice things to my feet because they do a lot of work.
I still sweat and my feet still get sore. But, hey, there's gotta be a trade off, right?
Most of all, I'm happy to discover that my Tai Chi sessions are the mini daily resets I didn't know I needed.
Life is good.

Woohoo! Regina is sharing her voice and her life with the world. Congratulations on taking up Tai chi and actively balancing every area of your life. Cheers.
